Sylas Jungle Tips and Tricks

  • Hijack is what makes Sylas unique. Always be aware of enemy ultimates in order to prioritize stealing high-impact ultimates for teamfights or before/during ganks.
  • Sylas relies heavily on his abilities. Manage your cooldowns effectively and use your Petricite Burst to maximize damage output between abilities.
  • Use Abscond/Abduct for mobility and engage. The first part (Abscond) is a short dash, while the second part (Abduct) is a skillshot that pulls you to an enemy and deals damage.
  • The most common Sylas engage combo is Abscond/AbductKingslayerChain Lash.
  • Always center Chain Lash during camp clears in order to deal maximum damage and don't forget to use Petricite Burst charges efficiently, never go above the maximum charges!

Pro Sylas Jungle Path —full clear with a Blue Buff start

  • The Pro Sylas Jungle Path features a full jg clear that begins on the Blue Sentinel. You'll be killing the Blue Sentinel with Abscond/Abduct and a pull from an ally is much needed for Sylas to be able to clear the first camp comfortably. This grants you level two to unlock Chain Lash. This spell grants you much needed area of effect damage for later, but now go and kill the Gromp and Murk Wolves. At level three, unlock Kingslayer. Path to the opposite side of the jungle to clear the Raptors, Red Brambleback and Krugs. Upgrade Kingslayer on level four. Lastly, now you're able to kill one of the Rift Scuttlers & path into a gank or recall back to base.
  • This Sylas Jungle Clear will be good enough for most matchups, but do note that you'll need a leash from an ally, otherwise you'll have to recall back to base after the first three camps.
  • Due to Sylas' kit having a lot of gap-closers and CC, if there's a free kill when you're level three go ahead and gank a nearby lane before clearing the rest of your jungle!

Sylas Jungle Path —full clear with a Red Buff start

  • This Sylas Jungle Path is a Red Buff variant and features a full jg clear that begins on the Red Brambleback. You'll be killing the Red Brambleback with Abscond/Abduct and once again a leash from an ally is much needed for Sylas to be able to clear the first camp comfortably. This grants you level two to unlock Chain Lash. This spell grants you much needed area of effect damage for the Krugs and Raptors. At level three, unlock Kingslayer. Path to the opposite side of the jungle to clear the Murk Wolves, Blue Sentinel and Gromp. Upgrade Kingslayer on level four. Lastly, now you're able to kill one of the Rift Scuttlers & path into a gank or recall back to base.
  • This Sylas Jungle Clear will be good enough for most matchups, but do note that you'll need a leash from an ally, otherwise you'll most likely have to recall back to base after the first three camps.
  • Due to Sylas' kit having a lot of gap-closers and CC, if there's a free kill when you're level three go ahead and gank a nearby lane before clearing the rest of your jungle!
