Sylas Tips and Tricks
- Hijack is what makes Sylas unique. Always be aware of enemy ultimates in order to prioritize stealing high-impact ultimates for teamfights or before/during ganks.
- Sylas relies heavily on his abilities. Manage your cooldowns effectively and use your Petricite Burst to maximize damage output between abilities.
- Use Abscond / Abduct for mobility and engage. The first part is a short dash, while the second part is a skillshot that pulls you to an enemy and deals damage.
- The most common Sylas engage combo is Abscond / Abduct → Kingslayer → Chain Lash.
- Always center Chain Lash during camp clears in order to deal maximum damage and don't forget to use Petricite Burst charges efficiently, never go above the maximum charges!

Sylas Jungle Pathing Guide
Jungle Pathing represents the choices jungle players make in regards to when and where to gank, invade or just path towards. It includes how camps and buffs are cleared between ganks, anticipating counterganks, and spotting opportunities for invading. Effective pathing requires deep understanding of your champion's abilities, their interactions, and how both team compositions play into those choices.
Full clear with a Blue Buff start

The recommended jungle path for Sylas is a full clear starting at Blue Sentinel with Abscond / Abduct. A leash from an ally will go a long way to make your clear much healthier, since that's the main thing Sylas Jungle suffers from. At level two, unlock Chain Lash for extra damage, then proceed to kill the Gromp and Wolves. At level three, unlock Kingslayer and rotate to Raptors, Red Brambleback, and Krugs. Reach level four, upgrade Kingslayer, then secure Rift Scuttler before ganking or recalling.
An alternative start is Red → Krugs → Raptors, but there's also a possibility of Raptors start and some have even been doing Wolves first!. All of these variants can work, and while safely full clearing is generally a good idea, the best way to play Sylas is aggressive!
Sylas' early gank strength is high at level three due to Abscond / Abduct and his gap-closing kit. If you can go for an easy level three gank to pick up a free kill, always do it, since early game kills are generally what enables Sylas jungle to really snowball and carry games.
