Zed Tips and Tricks
- Zed doesn't have any hard crowd-control, this makes him a relatively bad early game ganker. Try to pick off free kills on allied lanes without crowd-control effects, or gank those that do have it.
- To add pressure to the enemy laners or jungler, use the typical harass combo: Living Shadow → Shadow Slash → Razor Shuriken as this slows the enemies first, making them more likely to get hit by both of the shuriken.
- Even though Death Mark is used primarily as an engage skill, it can also be carefully timed to avoid enemy's skill shots and crowd-control effects.
- Contempt for the Weak deals surprising amounts of damage, allowing Zed to solo the early game Dragon and Herald. Zed's jungle clear speed is very fast because of it as well.
- Casting Living Shadow in the Baron or Dragon pit will give you vision of the area. Casting it again will instantly teleport you to it, allowing you to do Shadow Slash + Razor Shuriken + Smite to easily steal late game objectives.

Zed Jungle Pathing Guide
Jungle Pathing represents the choices jungle players make in regards to when and where to gank, invade or just path towards. It includes how camps and buffs are cleared between ganks, anticipating counterganks, and spotting opportunities for invading. Effective pathing requires deep understanding of your champion's abilities, their interactions, and how both team compositions play into those choices.
Full clear with a Red Buff start

The recommended jungle path for Zed begins at Red Brambleback, using Shadow Slash since it is his lowest cooldown damaging spell. At level two unlock Razor Shuriken and proceed to clear Krugs and Raptors. Reaching level three allows you to unlock Living Shadow which allows you to both deal more damage but also move around the jungle with more mobility. Continue to Murk Wolves, Gromp and the Blue Sentinel, and at level four, upgrade Razor Shuriken before taking the Rift Scuttler. After that, you can gank a lane, invade the enemy's raptors, or recall.
An alternative start is leashless Raptors → Krugs → Red Brambleback.
