Kha'Zix Tips and Tricks

Kha'Zix Tips and Tricks

  • Kha'Zix is one of the strongest single-target damage dealers which makes him perfect for invades, early Scuttler fights and river duels. Use this to your advantage and try to force fights versus enemy junglers which prefer to scale— Karthus, Evelynn, Nidalee...
  • Isolation is a unique passive only seen by Kha'Zix. Enemies will display a circle around them when they are not near any other champion, monster or minion. Isolated enemies take a lot of bonus damage from Kha'Zix's Taste Their Fear which means that most squishy champions have half of their HP deleted by just one cast.
  • Unseen Threat can be reset with the use of Void Assault, allowing Kha'Zix to slow the enemy multiple times with basic attacks.
  • Try not to use Leap to engage fights. Use Void Assault instead, and keep Leap to gap close if the enemy flashes or for running away if you're taking too many hits.
  • Kha'Zix has an easy combo: Void Assault, auto attack the enemy and quickly Taste Their Fear, Void Spike to heal up while slowing them and Taste Their Fear again. This allows you to keep one cast of Void Assault and Leap in case of an emergency.

Kha'Zix Jungle Pathing Guide

Jungle Pathing represents the choices jungle players make in regards to when and where to gank, invade or just path towards. It includes how camps and buffs are cleared between ganks, anticipating counterganks, and spotting opportunities for invading. Effective pathing requires deep understanding of your champion's abilities, their interactions, and how both team compositions play into those choices.

Full clear with a Blue Buff start

BLUE Side Kha'Zix full jungle clear starting at Blue Sentinel

The recommended jungle path for Kha'Zix starts on Blue Buff with Taste Their Fear unlocked at level one since this is his highest single-target damage skill. After Blue, unlock Void Spike for AoE and healing sustain, then clear Gromp and Wolves. At level three, unlock Leap and move to Red side. Clear Raptors, Red Buff, and Krugs to reach level four, then upgrade Taste Their Fear before contesting Rift Scuttler. Kha deals tremendous amounts of damage if the enemy is isolated, so you should prioritize dueling with the enemy jungler.

The route is efficient and gives extended Red Buff uptime for Scuttler duels and early fights. An alternative is starting Red into Krugs and Raptors, then crossing to Blue side. This grants earlier access to level three ganks but shortens Red Buff duration before river skirmishes. Both clears set up Kha'Zix well, with Blue start being more consistent for health sustain and scaling.
