Elise Tips and Tricks
- Elise is a mechanically complex champion that relies on proper spell combo execution. The combo goes as follows: Cocoon / Rappel, Neurotoxin / Venomous Bite, Volatile Spiderling / Skittering Frenzy → switch to Spider Form and cast Neurotoxin / Venomous Bite, Volatile Spiderling / Skittering Frenzy & continue basic attacking until the target is dead.
- Cocoon / Rappel skills are arguably the strongest non-ultimate abilities in the game. The human form features a low cooldown stun that can be incredible for picking off opponents and canceling ultimates, while the spider variant offers easy ways to gap close to opponents, jump over walls, stall the enemies, completely negate projectile damage and much more.
- The spider form's Cocoon / Rappel spell can also be used to do early game turret dives as Rappeling cancels any turret shots and their targeting.

Elise Jungle Pathing Guide
Jungle Pathing represents the choices jungle players make in regards to when and where to gank, invade or just path towards. It includes how camps and buffs are cleared between ganks, anticipating counterganks, and spotting opportunities for invading. Effective pathing requires deep understanding of your champion's abilities, their interactions, and how both team compositions play into those choices.
Full clear with a Blue Buff start

The recommended jungle path for Elise starts on Blue Buff with Volatile Spiderling / Skittering Frenzy at level one. After Blue, unlock Neurotoxin / Venomous Bite for strong single-target damage and move to the Gromp. Clearing Wolves next gives level three, where you take Cocoon / Rappel. With Cocoon and Rappel ready, you can gank Mid immediately or continue pathing into the Red Buff side. At level four, upgrade Neurotoxin / Venomous Bite and go for another gank on a nearby lane, with Elise it's all about spamming ganks!
The route maximizes early pressure by combining efficient clears with quick gank setups. An alternative start is Red Buff into Blue Buff and Gromp for a focus on ganks/early dives, and then back to clearing the rest of your jungle.
Elise's early stun and dive potential from Cocoon / Rappel can snowball lanes quickly if allies follow up. The tradeoff is leaving camps uncleared, but successful ganks offset the gold and XP loss with lane advantages if you trust your allies.
