Jarvan IV Tips and Tricks
- Jarvan IV is very effective in all elos, even pro play. His spell kit allows him to do pretty much everything a jungler would need to do. He can do early game ganks, duel most enemy junglers, take early Herald/Dragons and most importantly he's very mobile.
- Martial Cadence deals a substantial amount of bonus damage, but it has a cooldown! When you're fighting multiple enemies try to proc it on each one for the highest damage output.
- The Demacian Standard + Dragon Strike combo can be used to initiate fights, but also to run away from them if needed.
- Cataclysm is incredibly useful for teamfights as it allows Jarvan IV to trap immobile enemies and should almost always be used on carries (ADC/MID). Though, worth noting is that the enemies can Flash away to dodge the damage, so keep in mind to cast it when they're not ready for it!

Jarvan IV Jungle Pathing Guide
Jungle Pathing represents the choices jungle players make in regards to when and where to gank, invade or just path towards. It includes how camps and buffs are cleared between ganks, anticipating counterganks, and spotting opportunities for invading. Effective pathing requires deep understanding of your champion's abilities, their interactions, and how both team compositions play into those choices.
Full camp clear with a Red Buff start

The recommended jungle path for Jarvan IV starts on Red Buff with Demacian Standard at level one for the attack speed boost since the Q doesn't remove much Armor from camps early on. After Red, unlock Dragon Strike and clear Krugs followed by Raptors. This brings you to level three where you take Golden Aegis. At this point you can gank Mid while transitioning to the other side and pathing into Wolves, Blue Buff, and Gromp. At level four, upgrade Dragon Strike before contesting Rift Scuttler and looking to gank.
The route focuses on efficiency and scales better in higher elo where early ganks are less effective. An alternative is a Raptors start into Red and Krugs, which gets level three quickly for an early Bot/Top gank depending on your side. This path potentially sacrifices your other half of the jungle or a potential invade from the enemy
Consistently pathing into bottom lane and playing aggressive often leads to much higher win rate. If you find yourself on the Blue team you can also do a Blue Buff full clear instead.
