Olaf Tips and Tricks
- Olaf's Berserker Rage gives him bonus attack speed depending on his missing health. This makes Olaf a great dueler, and he wins almost all early Scuttler fights (sometimes even 1v2).
- The less health Olaf has, the more powerful he gets. Keep on fighting when you're low health as you will lifesteal a lot of health back, unless you're absolutely certain you're going to die.
- Undertow grants Olaf vision around the Axes that land, use this to check brushes, low vision corners and whether an enemy is on jungle camps, Herald or Dragon.
- Reckless Swingdeals damage even if the opponent Flashes away when you've cast it. Try to leave it for finishing off low health opponents as it will refund the health cost back to you.
- Ragnarok doesn't last a long time so use it carefully— it's really good for cancelling important CC!
- Hunt down the enemy by hitting them with Undertow and keep picking up the axes to refresh the cooldown & hitting them again in order to get closer.

Olaf Jungle Pathing Guide
Jungle Pathing represents the choices jungle players make in regards to when and where to gank, invade or just path towards. It includes how camps and buffs are cleared between ganks, anticipating counterganks, and spotting opportunities for invading. Effective pathing requires deep understanding of your champion's abilities, their interactions, and how both team compositions play into those choices.
Full clear with a Red Buff start
The recommended jungle path for Olaf is a full clear starting at Red Buff with either Undertow or Tough It Out for better sustain. At level two, unlock the other of the two skills and clear Krugs, then Raptors. Hitting level three, upgrade Undertow to improve clear speed and move to Wolves, Gromp and Blue Buff. At level four, take Reckless Swing and head for the Rift Scuttler. Resetting Undertow by picking up axes is key to speeding up camp clears significantly.
An alternative opener is on the Raptors instead, followed by Krugs and Red Buff before going to the Blue Buff side. It's a good variant but keep note that the Undertow is mandatory for a Raptor start.
Olaf's aggression begins as early as level three, where Undertow slows plus Reckless Swing true damage let him win most duels with the enemy jungler. At Scuttler, you can contest nearly any opponent if you play around axe resets.
