Rengar Tips and Tricks
- Rengar can duel quite efficiently in the early-game so always try to flank the enemy jungler and fight them for the first Rift Scuttler.
- Thrill of the Hunt is best used to find and assassinate high priority targets in team fights and skirmishes, primarily AD carries.
- Unseen Predator is excellent for chasing down opponents in the jungle since being in a Brush will allow Rengar to jump onto the opponent. On top of that, it's also great for lane ganks provided he gets to a lane unnoticed.
- Rengar can jump over walls using Unseen Predator. To do so, place a ward to make a jungle camp visible and get inside a brush over the wall, then simply attack the monsters to jump onto them.
- Battle Roar is great for healing up a lot of damage that was taken in short bursts.

Rengar Jungle Pathing Guide
Jungle Pathing represents the choices jungle players make in regards to when and where to gank, invade or just path towards. It includes how camps and buffs are cleared between ganks, anticipating counterganks, and spotting opportunities for invading. Effective pathing requires deep understanding of your champion's abilities, their interactions, and how both team compositions play into those choices.
Full camp clear with a Red Buff start

The recommended jungle path for Rengar is a full clear starting at Red Buff with Savagery since its his main damage spell. At level two unlock Battle Roar and clear Krugs and Raptors. After reaching level three, unlock Bola Strike and rotate to Wolves, Gromp, and Blue Buff before contesting Rift Scuttler. This full clear ensures Rengar hits level six as quick as possible, while maintaining strong early jungle tempo.
An alternative route is Blue → Gromp → Wolves into Red side, although seen much less commonly. This variant provides safer early clears and better positioning to counter-invade since everyone is used to Rengar starting Red Buff first.
Rengar's early gank power spikes at level three with Bola Strike and empowered Q, particularly on overextended lanes. Though it's more often than not just better to keep on power farming until level six and first item.
