- Infected Bonesaw deals heavy damage to high-health targets, making it excellent for clearing jungle camps and securing early Dragons. Dr. Mundo is among the fastest first-Dragon clearers in the game.
- Infected Bonesaw is Mundo's main ganking tool. Its slow and low cooldown let you catch enemies who try to escape. Practice landing it consistently to maximize your gank pressure.
- Grievous Wounds severely limits Mundo's sustain. If the enemy jungler rushes anti-heal, avoid direct duels until you have enough items to negate the debuff.
- Blunt Force Trauma helps secure objectives and improves multi-target camp clears. You can, for instance, finish a small Raptor with it while damaging the rest in a line behind.
- Blunt Force Trauma slightly increases Mundo's attack range, letting him hit targets from safer positions in skirmishes.

Jungle Pathing represents the choices jungle players make in regards to when and where to gank, invade or just path towards. It includes how camps and buffs are cleared between ganks, anticipating counterganks, and spotting opportunities for invading. Effective pathing requires deep understanding of your champion's abilities, their interactions, and how both team compositions play into those choices.
Full clear with a Blue Buff start
The recommended jungle path for Dr. Mundo starts at Blue Sentinel with Infected Bonesaw for a big chunk of health % damage. The skill also provides a health cost refund if it finishes the target! At level two unlock Blunt Force Trauma for additional bonus damage and kill the Gromp & Wolves next. At level three, unlock Heart Zapper to speed up the Red side clears with the AoE. Finish Raptors, Red Brambleback, and Krugs to reach level four, then upgrade Infected Bonesaw before pathing into a gank or clearing the Rift Scuttler.
An alternative opener is Red → Krugs → Raptors → Wolves → Gromp → Blue. This path provides earlier Red Buff uptime for pressure on level three ganks or invades but is only worth it if you are pathing into bottom lane when playing on the Red side.
