Ambessa Tips and Tricks
- Utilizing Ambessa's passive, Drakehound's Step is incredibly important as each ability cast allows you to dash, and each attack regenerates your energy as well.
- Even though Ambessa's abilities can dash, it's impossible for her to dash over jungle walls.
- Cunning Sweep / Sundering Slam deals percentage of health as damage to enemies that are hit by the edge of the ability. This comes in handy during jungle clears and high health objectives such as the Herald and Dragons, so position yourself properly!
- Ambessa's generic combo goes like this: Cunning Sweep / Sundering Slam → Lacerate → Repudiation → Cunning Sweep / Sundering Slam. It is crucial to auto attack after each skill to generate energy enough for additional rotations.
- Since she doesn't have any real crowd-control ability before level six, as Ambessa you'll want to path into lanes which can set you up for the ganks. Once Public Execution is available, you're able to gank any lane you'd like.

Ambessa Jungle Pathing Guide
Jungle Pathing represents the choices jungle players make in regards to when and where to gank, invade or just path towards. It includes how camps and buffs are cleared between ganks, anticipating counterganks, and spotting opportunities for invading. Effective pathing requires deep understanding of your champion's abilities, their interactions, and how both team compositions play into those choices.
Full clear with a Red Buff start

The recommended Ambessa jungle path features a full clear that starts on the Red Buff with Cunning Sweep / Sundering Slam at level 1. After Red, unlock Lacerate for fast Krugs and Raptor clears thanks to the strong AoE. These kills grant you level three, letting you upgrade Cunning Sweep / Sundering Slam before pathing into Wolves, Gromp and Blue Buff. This grants you level four where you unlock Repudiation, then move on to the Rift Scuttler & try to duel the enemy jungler if it's a favorable matchup.
The clear is healthy and versatile, which is why many prefer pathing like this. It's also possible to start on Raptors, then go for Krugs and Red Buff third before continuing to the Blue side. Both variations can work just fine.
If you need early pressure, Raptors into Red and Krugs set you up for a quick level three gank on the Bot or Top lane depending on your side.
